Dr. Bob Kreashko was born and raised in Leechburg, Pennsylvania where he played football and baseball for the Blue Devils. Upon graduation from Leechburg High School, Dr. Bob attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. Upon completion of his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Bob participated in an elective, one-year general dentist residency at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. Three years later, Dr. Bob completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine and a teaching fellowship in the orthodontic program.
As part of his education, Dr. Bob completed his Masters in Dental Science with his research project on temporo-mandibular joint disorders (TMD) at University of Pittsburgh's Pain Institute. Dr. Bob has been published in the following journals based on his research and editorials: the American Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of American Dental Association, International Association of Dental Research, Adult Orthodontics and Orthognathic Surgery, and the Informationen Aus Orthodontie Kieferorthopadie (Germany). Dr. Bob has been serving the Alle-Kiski Valley and surrounding communities since 1992. In order to continue providing excellent care, Dr. Kreashko continues his education with courses on new technology and developments in the orthodontic field. His use of technology and state-of-the-art appliances helps to reduce the number of appointments needed, as well as the total amount of time necessary for treatment. Dr. Bob and his staff strive to provide the best care which allows Mars Dental Associates to change the world one smile at a time!
Dr. Bob has two children, Travis, a junior at West Virginia University and Alexis, a freshman at Virginia Tech. Dr. Bob lives in Oakmont and his hobbies include reading, philosophy, and writing. He wrote a play called “CAMP LIFE” that was produced by the New-Ken Civic Theatre. When he has the time, you can find Dr. Bob either on the golf course, the tennis court, hunting and fishing, motorcycle riding or on the river. Dr. Bob is a strong believer in youth sports programs to build character at an early age and sponsors four to six Little League and soccer teams per year.
